Running a large website like Smack Jeeves isn't free. There are ongoing server expenses, and the site itself requires maintainence, not to mention we are constantly improving the quality of our service. Donations from our users help to cover these costs, and ensure that Smack Jeeves will continue to grow and thrive for many years to come.
Donator Codes
As thanks for the generosity of our donators, we offer extra features and increased upload limits to people who have donated. For every $10 you donate, you will receive a special donator code, which can be activated on any webcomic on Smack Jeeves. Once a donator code is activated on a webcomic, that webcomic will have access to a whole bunch of special features that are only granted to donators! Donator codes last for an entire year from when they were activated, and multiple donator codes can be applied to a webcomic (each code activated extends donator status another year). Each donator code can only be applied once to a webcomic.

We assume that you will probably activate the donator code on one of your own webcomics, but if you would like to give the donator code to someone else, feel free! The reason we made donator codes was for that exact reason - so they could be shared if people wanted to.
How to Activate
To activate a donator code, go to the main management area for your comic, and click on "Enter Donator Codes". Copy and paste any number of your codes in and hit submit.
